Homalomena rubescens 6"
Homalomena rubescens is a terrestrial plant native to the understories of India, including Sikkim, Bhutan, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Myanmar. With stems resembling that of the Alocasia genus it wouldn't be surprising if this species lived near the interstitial areas near creek-banks or bodies of water.
Homalomena rubescens enjoys bright indirect to brief partial direct sun exposure, a chunky, well-draining potting mix, moderate to high temps, and would appreciate some higher humidity levels. Likes to dry in-between waterings.
May need to be repotted every 6 months to a year.
May be toxic.
6" nursery pots available.
