Anthurium regale

A large leaved member of the section Cardiolonchium, native to Peru's Rio Huallaga Valley with collections normally made north of Tingo Maria and Juanjui in Central Peru, a large number of botanically collected specimens were found near San Martín. With leaf blades reportedly able to reach 6 feet in it's native habitat, in cultivation that measurement is usually closer to 3 feet. The size combined with the distinct, instantly recognizable vein patterns, Anthurium regale is about as good as it gets when it comes to ornamental tropical foliage plants.

Anthurium regale enjoys bright indirect to brief partial direct sun exposure, a chunky well-draining soil, moderate temps, and absolutely needs high humidity (this likely isn't a sp. that you can get away with acclimating to your normal home conditions). Enjoys drying out nearly completely between waterings.

May need to repotted yearly.

1 specimen in 4” nursery pot available.
