Cissus discolor 6"
A member of the Vitaceae family, Cissus discolor is native to the tropical forests of Java, where it can be found growing hemiepiphytically. Known as the Begonia rex vine for it’s asymmetrical, colorful leaves, but has absolutely no relation to the Begonia genus. This is a difficult species to make a houseplant.
Cissus discolor enjoys bright indirect, to partial/filtered direct sunlight, a chunky, well-draining potting mix, mild to high temps, and is reliant on high humidity. Enjoys to superficially dry in between waterings, never being allowed to become bone dry.
May not ever need to be repotted.
May be toxic to pets.
6” nursery pot available.
