Euphorbia trigona 'Rubra' (Pink) 4" & 6"
Euphorbia trigona 'Rubra'
A cultivar of Euphorbia trigona that is selected for it's easily achieved red coloration. The amount of direct sun exposure to the body of the plant is what dictates the saturation of the red colors. Native to central Africa, Euphorbia trigona is a columnar succulent shrub in the Spurge family. Also called "African Milk Tree" along with several other sp. of Euphorbia - due to the thick white latex-like sap that leaks when cut or injured.
Euphorbia trigona 'Rubra' enjoys very bright indirect light to full sun exposure, a gritty, well-draining potting mix, high temps, and has no humidity demands. Likes to dry completely in-between waterings. Be mindful if growing it in full sun/outside that it needs much more water than if it were in less-than-ideal lighting, or indoors.
May need to be repotted in 6 months to a year.
Toxic to pets and/or children.
4" & 6" nursery pots available.
