Ficus elastica 'Tineke' 4" & 6"
Ficus elastica 'Tineke'
Ficus elastica 'Tineke' is a close relative of the iconic houseplant - Ficus lyrata (fiddle leaf fig) but is known to be a bit less temperamental than it's cousin. Also known as the rubber tree due to the waxy cuticular sheen on the leaves, the 'Tineke' cultivar boasts cream to white variegated leaves that become more blushed towards the growth tips and more creamy in older growth.
Ficus elastica 'Tineke' enjoys very bright indirect light to partial/brief direct sun exposure, a chunky, well-draining potting mix, moderate to high temps, and has no notable humidity demands. Allow to thoroughly dry in-between waterings, but don't allow to sit dry for any real amount of time.
May need to be repotted within 6 months - year.
May be toxic to pets and children.
4-6” nursery pots available.
