Part of the Piperaceae (pepper) family, and related to Piper nigrum, the source of black & white pepper. 

It enjoys bright indirect light, a well-draining mix, and normal to high temperatures. It enjoys to dry out superficially in-between waterings, and needs higher humidity to function it's best.

6" nursery pots available. Might need to be repotted in 6 months to a year.
