Chlorophytum comosum (Spider Plant) Hanging Basket 8"
!NOT ELIGIBLE FOR SHIPPING!
Native to tropical and Southern Africa, and naturalized to other parts of the world including parts of Australia, Chlorophytum comosum is an iconic houseplant in the Asparagaceae family. Known for it's ability to create "pups", or juvenile offset plants from stolons (long tendrils), it's easy to see how many people end up with several of them in their home.
Chlorophytum comosum enjoys bright indirect to brief partial/filtered direct sun exposure, mild to high temps, a chunky, well-draining potting soil, and would benefit from some higher humidity. Likes to dry in-between waterings, never letting it sit bone dry.
May need to be repotted every 6 months to a year.
Toxic to pets, and supposedly mildly hallucinogenic to felines.
8" Hanging Baskets available.
